The American Song Contest was a show that aired in 2022 on NBC’s Peacock based on Europe’s Eurovision Song Contest. The European Broadcasting Union produced a sister show for the United States in hopes of recreating the magic and excitement of Eurovision for American audiences. This project explores a refresh on the show and an updated rebrand for the show that hopes to draw a larger audience to the show.

Bringing the Contest to Life

Part of the rebrand was to create a motion package that would be shown at the live event. The goal was to build excitement leading up to the event while carrying the brand identity through motion. The package contains an event introduction alongside two artist introductions.
